Special Magiastrate
Lynn Cole's years of litigation experience with discovery and procedural rules in federal and state courts, serves her well in making decisions for parties in state court cases that are prolonged or complicated.
In 2004, the Florida Legislature enacted Chapter 2004-265 to amend the statutes governing special masters. The law re-designated special "masters" as special "magistrates".
Appointed by a Circuit Court Judge, Ms. Cole has served as a Special Magistrate in a multi-party litigation in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Florida.
Ms. Cole has also served as a Special Master to a Federal Magistrate Judge in a complex tax case.
